Chicken and cheese savory pie


Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 bottle of Ensure® Plus Advance, vanilla flavor
  • 150 g of grated cheddar/gouda cheese to taste
  • 150 g of chopped, cooked, chicken meat (ideally chicken breast)
  • 80g of chopped broccoli
  • ½ onion cut into rounds
  • ½ teaspoon of dried basil leaves
  • 2 pieces of filo (sheet) dough
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • ½ teaspoon chopped chives (to taste)
  • Round baking form
  • Mixer or whisk
  • Rubbing bow
  • Grater

Directions

Preheat the oven to 175°C. Coat the baking form with oil. In a medium bowl, mix eggs and Ensure® Plus Advance well. Then stir in the cheese, chicken, broccoli, onion and basil. Now we have to work fast. Brush one sheet of dough with oil and place the second sheet on top of it. Place the dough that has been joined in this way in the center of the baking form. Press the dough into the edge of the mold with your fingers. Pour in the egg mixture into form. Bake for 30 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. If you want, you can sprinkle the cake with chives. Serve warm.
